Farrell enjoys presenting his research to the public. He has travelled throughout New York State speaking to Historical Societies, schools, churches, libraries, Service Organizations (Lions, Rotary, Kwanis) and book clubs.
His presentation is visual and includes stories, legends and the history behind some of the most recognized names in the Empire State (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Utica), as well as a number of places which are less known, but intriguing (Diana, Swastika, Penn Yann, Cuba, Painted Post, Canastota).
